Breast Cancer
Nagi S. El-Saghir, MD, FACP is Professor and Head of the Division of Hematology-Oncology, and Director of the Breast Center of Excellence at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC), Lebanon. Trained in the U.S. and Belgium, he is American Board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. He is Founding President of the Lebanese Society of Medical Oncology and the Lebanese Breast Cancer Foundation, and has held key leadership roles in ASCO, ESMO, ESO, and BHGI. Prof. El-Saghir has authored over 110 peer-reviewed publications and contributed to major international breast cancer guidelines. A strong advocate for awareness and early detection, he has led numerous national and international initiatives in cancer care and education. His contributions have been recognized with multiple national and international awards, including Lebanon’s National Cedar Medal of Honor.
